Tactical Athlete Strength
The primary emphasis of the Tactical Athlete Strength training cycle is to improve operational longevity and confidence by building strength and resilience in both skeletal muscle and connective tissues. It’s secondary emphasis is to improve mobility and robustness in key joints whilst practising proper movement mechanics in order to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injury.
This is the programme to train year round for any athlete who wants to; constantly and consistently improve all aspects of their performance, all while improving movement mechanics and reducing their risk of injury. This continual growth will give you the confidence to perform in any scenario in the knowledge that you are always as prepared as you can be.
This cycle has between 5 and 6 days per week and has a strength bias (approximately a 60/40 split of strength to conditioning bias sessions respectively) but includes enough conditioning work to still improve (or at the very least maintain) your current stamina.
If you are preparing for a career course or an arduous training course such as the Commando Course, P-Company, OAC, Patrols/Recce Cadre, Sniper Course, Recce Commanders or courses of similar nature we recommend training our Tactical Athlete Conditioning training cycle.

I would and have recommended the training to others. The programme uses exercises and workouts that produce maximum training effects. This is grade A! Whereas the MOD recommended programmes look simple and work to provide a baseline, your programmes provide a lot more legitimate, specialised fitness advice for those who want to push it further all coming from operators who can use their experience to help the new generation come through. The new wave of tactical fitness has been catalysed by Stoic and it good to see the militaries on both side of the Atlantic playing catch up. Best of luck for the future gents.
