Programme Design For The Warfighter: Part IV Periodisation

Part III looked at exercise testing protocols in order to provide baseline measurements to design a programme. In this instalment of the series we shall define and discuss periodisation for tactical athletes. It is important to have a basic understanding of periodisation, as your ability to prepare yourself physically during your career for either selection, deployments, promotion courses etc. will greatly improve.
